Interested in becoming a member?

We sing four concerts a year in York Minster under our conductor Philip Moore, who was Master of the Music at York Minster until his retirement in August 2008. Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30pm at Central Methodist Church in St Saviourgate, York. Click here to see this on a map.

If you are interested in joining the choir, you will need a moderate sight-reading ability, a commitment to attending rehearsals and a love of singing! There is a short audition for new members and an annual membership fee. We are particularly interested in recruiting tenors, but have a waiting list for new alto members at the moment.
